Get Off to a Great Start!
Back to School Night is a chance to visit your child’s classroom and get acquainted with your teacher and other parents in the class.
Grades 3rd-6th:

Grades K-2nd:
Tuesday, September 7, 2010. NEW DATE!
5:30: You can buy pizza by the slice in the cafeteria, with proceeds benefiting the 6th grade’s annual camping trip. Also, stop by the information tables in the main hallway to renew your PTA membership and see what else will be happening this year at Mathews.
6:00: Students will escort parents to their classrooms and show them around. This is a special opportunity for the children to tell you about their own school experiences!
6:10: Students will proceed to the gym and/or the cafeteria to participate in special activities just for them.
6:10-7:15: Parents will remain in the classrooms for presentations. Your teacher will give an overview of class structure and curriculum for the year, and help you get acquainted with the classroom, materials, and fellow families. Principal Amy Kinkade and PTA Co-Presidents will deliver a loudspeaker address.
