Capturing Community Donations

Here are a few easy fundraising opportunities for Mathews that don’t involve you or your kids having to sell or buy candy/cookies/candles/popcorn/etc/etc/etc!! These programs rely on the generous support of business sponsors — please help us rein in these available dollars!

HEB and Randall’s Grocery Cards
When you buy HEB or Randall’s grocery cards from the PTA, you can use the full value of the cards at HEB, Central Market and Randall’s stores – and our school receives $5 for every $100 you spend! This is a win/win program, because you can help raise thousands of dollars for Mathews without spending an extra penny! Please help us meet our goal of $12,000 for much needed digital projectors
and other technology updates.

Box Tops
Every time you buy a General Mills food item, clip and save your “Box Tops For Education” coupon. These are found on General Mills products, including cereals, and Cascadian Farm cereals, as well as Ziploc bags and other products. Bring all coupons to Mathews and deposit them in the hallway outside the office. Mathews receives 10 cents for each label!

Used Children’s Books
Mathews has teamed up with the Reach Out and Read Program to collect gently used children’s books. Drop your books in the barrel near the front door of the school. Mathews receives 25 cents per usable book!

Randall’s Grocery Stores
You can have 1% of all your Randall’s purchases donated to Mathews Elementary. Just apply at any store for  a Randall’s Remarkable Card, and designate Code 8136 to receive the donations.

When you use your Target credit card at Target stores or, 1% of your purchases will be returned to Mathews. Purchases with the Target credit card anywhere other than Target will return ½ percent to Mathews. Just designate Mathews as the beneficiary school by School ID # 96104.
