How we Communicate

LivingTree

Coming Fall of 2018!   LivingTree is Mathew’s private communication network for parents/teachers/staff.   As a parent, you’ll see posts (messages, photos, and files) and events from your child(ren)’s teachers and school administrators.  You’ll be able to join the conversation by sharing posts, direct messaging, posting calendar events, and more.  Watch for your “Welcome to LivingTree” email which will provide your username and password.  As soon as you log in, enhanced engagement can begin!  LivingTree and this website work together as the primary means of communication for our school.

Principal Brewster’s Weekly Message

Principal Brewster sends out a weekly school wide message every Sunday that contains all the important events of the week and general updates.  You MUST opt in through your AISD Parent Cloud account to receive this weekly message.  Once you are logged into your Parent Cloud account, your communication preferences can be found by clicking on the “My Student” tab in the bottom navigation and then click on the “My Messages” tile.  Make sure you opt into Campus Messages.  You can choose to receive them by phone, email or both.   An archive of these messages can be found here.

Google Group

We have a private parent google group that is also used to disseminate information and alerts.  You can sign up here or email Jarod Neece (jneece@gmail.com) to be added to the group.

Social Media

Like us on Facebook.  Follow us on Twitter and Instagram.

Mathews Parents Facebook Group

You can request to join our ‘secret‘ parents Facebook group by emailing fb@mathews360.com. A variety of information is shared here including social gatherings, volunteer opportunities, reminders, etc.  This is a great place to stay in the loop.

Wednesday Folders

We have moved to digital Wednesday Folders.  Please check the website home page and click on “Weekly Wednesday Folder” .  Many important flyers and week by week communication will be posted there.

Homeroom Parents

Each classroom will have a dedicated homeroom parent who will have a class email list to disseminate important notes pertaining to activities specific to your child’s classroom or requests/needs from your child’s teacher.
