 Sticky Fingers Cooking. Wednesdays 3:15-4:15, 2 sessions, please see flyerCultivating ‘Cool’inary Curiosity in Kids! Awesome and Super tasty cooking classes for K through 6th grade, meeting once a  week.  Enroll at www.stickyfingerscooking.com/school-programs/texas when available. Classes are always nut-free, and any and all dietary restrictions are accommodated. Tuition includes chef instruction, all foods, materials, recipe collection and a substantial and healthy snack at the end of every class. www.stickyfingerscooking.com

The Little Yoga House. Tuesdays 3:15-4:15, starts Sept 12th. integrates playful yoga with creative self expression by incorporating storytelling, yogic journeys around the world, and body movement. Yoga pose sequences created in this class develop strength, coordination, focus and body awareness. Fun breathing exercises, coordination, simple balancing poses and relaxation are introduced to give your child important skills that last a lifetime. www.thelittleyogahouse.com

Camp-Fire. Thursdays, start Sept 14th from 2:57-4:00pm, grade K-5Camp Fire programs will run all year, broken into two sessions, Fall 2017 and Spring 2018. Each will be a 16 week program that meets once a week for an hour afterschool. We will not meet the first or last week of the school session. The cost of the program is $20 each session, and totals $320 plus the $25 registration fee for the 16 week program. Payment plans, and sliding scale are available upon request. Camp Fire offers an optional family campout and hiking adventure each season, and additional programs periodically.  TGA Golf and Tennis. Thursdays, start Sept 14th, 3:15. For info contact Casey Kreis CKreis@playtga.com TGA brings the golf and tennis courts to you by making it convenient and affordable for your child to learn in a sae and fun environment. Every class includes group and 1-on-1 instructions, life lessons including sportsmanship and honesty, etc. Meets once a week for a 6 week session. www.PlayTGA.com/Austin

Smudge Studio. Wednesdays, start Sept 13th 3:15pm-4:15pm. The swirls of Van Gogh, Monet’s soft water lilies, Warhol’s soup cans! In our Who Arted? classes we draw inspiration directlyfrom all the artists we love! A kid friendly art history lesson paired with a project that further explores the artists work, encourages our students to get a better understanding of the most famous and well known artists while creating original artwork of their own. We will be exploring many mediums and techniques, from clay and paper-maché to painting and drawing. We encourage individual artistic choices, creativity, learning and fun. $390 tuition, includes material costs. Runs 09/12/17-12/12/17 (no classes on Nov 21st).

Film Kids.  For students 4th-6th grade, Mondays, Starts Sept 11th, 3-4:45pm. Tuition is $300 for a 12-week session (Sept 11-Dec11).  Make movies from your own creative ideas, write stories with your friends, make props and costumes, improve your acting skills, run cameras and film others, learn to direct and storyboard, create soundtrack music, and host a film festival and the end of the year.  Idea lab Kids will be hosting 2 after school clubs this year. Mondays, beginning 9/11/17, tuition $195 3D Printing Club Grade 3rd-6th: In the Idea Lab Kids’ 3D printing club, students will learn the basics of computer animated design as they are challenged with amazing project skills. The biggest skill they will develop is Computer Animated Design (CAD programming). Using a student-friendly program called TinkerCAD, students will begin the process of designing on the computer. The goal for the end of the semester is to develop the skills necessary to invite parents in for the final portion of the last class of the semester and teach them how to design their own fidget spinner.

Wednesdays, beginning 9/13/17, tuition $195LEGO®️ Wedo 2.0 and ShpereO Club Grades K-3rd: In the Idea Lab Kids’ Robotics and ShpereO Club, students will explore beginner coding and programming principles using incredibly fun tools and challenges. American Robotics Academy, starts Friday Sept 15th. 2 age groups, please see flyers: 1st-3rd and 4th-6th. American Robotics Academy aims to excite, inspire and motivate children about the importance of robotics technology. Our hands-on classes offer an introduction to the fundamentals of engineering design, helping children understand “how things work”. Held in a friendly, sports-like atmosphere, students work in age-appropriate teams and learn how to design, build and test remote-controlled miniature robots. We use simple, motorized machines – all made from LEGO®️ bricks! – to demonstrate mechanical movements and other effects.
